Welcome everyone to payments Forum in Florida.
(00:16):
All right, for those of you who are here with us this morning, you already seen a ton of great content for our most influential Women in Payments panel sessions. For those of you who are getting in late, I am sorry you missed it. It was amazing. But you can actually see presentations and stuff all on our app. Make sure you download our app. But if you were there, you learned a lot of interesting things about how these executives see just how the hybrid workforce has affected career advancement, how they push past some real obstacles in their own career paths, how things like AI are affecting training, recruiting, job performance, stuff like that. And it's only going to get more and more interesting from here on out. I would like to thank our advisory committee for working with us to put together all this amazing content for you, our industry partner, the EBT Community Council.
(01:08):
We are delighted to be partnering this year with on a dedicated track on electronic benefits transfers. I'd like to thank our platinum sponsor I2C, our gold sponsors, Cognizant and Daily Pay, and our silver sponsors deserve Indo and Priority. And I'd like to thank the speakers that you're going to hear very shortly for joining us to share their amazing insights. I'm going to share some highlights from the next two days. You'll soon hear exciting research on emerging payments sponsored by I two C. You will hear Howard Fields, chief Compliance Officer and counsel at MasterCard discuss the changing dynamics of compliance and payments, and of course, the aforementioned dedicated track and new partnership with the EBT Community Council. Day two, we'll have an exciting case study with PNC and daily pay, a dynamic solution addressing the financial challenges facing the American worker. We'll have James Anderson, Managing Director of Pays, talking about their new digital wallet pays being a early warning, Zelle sort of companion wallet, Mike Story, VP of innovation development and university partnerships at Synchrony and Erica Sanchez, VP and GM of Venmo will discuss how Gen Z is changing the payments landscape.
(02:28):
And if I can plug some of my own stuff too early in the morning, we'll have an AI workshop where I encourage people to bring their own experiences and discuss how they've used artificial intelligence to solve some of their problems and a lot of other interesting content throughout the day. I've already mentioned the app. I strongly encourage you download it. You can upload your photo, you can message people. It's all kinds of powerful things. We'll have track sessions this afternoon. The two tracks are, again, the EBT track and the card mobile digital payments track sponsored by Cognizant, and we're all looking forward to ending the day with the wine down. That's WINE. You heard me write, so that's a cocktail reception starting at five 15 where we'll have dedicated tables for discussing certain topics, small business, AI, whatever you want to discuss. So join us at those tables and I believe those are all of the housekeeping notes I have. So if Chana, if you are here and ready to take the stage, I see you right there. You're up. Let's kick things off.
