Daniel Wolfe (00:08):

This is Daniel Wolfe again with American Banker, and we are about to hand out the awards for this year's honorees for the most influential women in Payments. But before we do that, I just wanted to hand it over to Jacqueline White, President of I2C, our sponsor for a few words.

Jacqueline White (00:32):

Thank you, Daniel.

(00:34):

So welcome to lunch. It looks like a good one. And thank you for attending. I2C is thrilled and honored to be able to host the luncheon. For those of you who don't know, I2C is the payment processing company out there. We are 24-year-old, privately held based in San Francisco and it's really an honor and a privilege for me to represent I2C. We have almost 2000 employees. We are in 200 countries and regions globally. We work very closely with all of the networks, MasterCard, American Express, visa, and really I would encourage you to find some of our team. Could I have my I2C team? Just stand up really quickly, find your I2C folks and learn more about us. We love to partner. We think that we appreciate our partnership with American Banker and we really are just so happy to support and advance the most influential women in payments. The industry has come a long way. We've still got farther to go, and I2C is a strong proponent of women and diversity in general. We really believe, and we have found internally, that when we have diverse organizations, it's better for everyone. It's better for the company, better for the individuals, and better for our collective clients. So thank you for joining us here at this wonderful conference and we look forward to with you honoring the attendees for the most influential women in banking. Thank you so much.

Daniel Wolfe (02:21):

All right. So here's how this is going to work. I will announce the names of the honorees for the most influential Women in Payments next, which we announced separately last year for women specifically under the age of 40 who are high achieving or on a path to greatness. And then we will go into this year's honorees for the most influential women in payments. If you are an honoree, if you hear your name called, please show up on that side of the stage. Kate Fitzgerald, my colleague, will hand you your trophy, which you get to keep. And then I believe, yeah, if you want, you can take their pictures right here and then you walk towards me, walk past me, and then like I said, you get to keep the trophy. So are we ready to get started? All right. Whoever's in control of the slides, there we go. Our first honoree for the most influential Women in Payments. Next, Chelsea Puckett Stride Bank. I like the music. Next Women in Payments Honoree, Margaret Ryan, American Express. Next up for next we have Allison Shonerd, Bank of America. I really like this music. It reminds me of, I dunno if anybody goes to Disney World, the Sorin Ride where you're just in this hang. That's what it reminds me of. So going on next, we have, these are the honorees who are not here today, but all of them very deserving of recognition. So round of applause for them.

(05:24):

Alright, and now we have in alphabetical order the most influential women in Payments 2024. Starting up. Cathy Beardsley from Segpay. They changed the music because I kept commenting on it. Next up, Lia Cao, JP Morgan Chase. Next up, Kristy Carstensen, US Bank.

(07:07):

Congratulations.

(07:11):

Allysun Fleming, Comerica Bank.

(07:28):

Congratulations.

(07:33):

Anna Greenwald. MoneyGram, Carolyn Homberger, Featurespace. Judith McGuire from Discover. Nichole Price from Pathward. Yaminah Sattarian from KeyBank. Congratulations. Celeste Schwitters from Visa, Saema Somalya from Remitly. Katie Whalen from Fiserv, Elena Whisler from The Clearing House. We got one left. All right. Michelle Young from Worldpay. So that's all the trophies we have, but not all of the honorees. We'd also like to recognize those who aren't here today, but are, as I said, just as deserving. Kathryn Albright from Umpqua. Gina Taylor Cotter, American Express. Kim Fitzsimmons is Talus Pay. Kelly Haren, Walmart. Shannon Johnston, Global Payments. Carol Juel, Synchrony. Jenny Miller, Wise, Bea Ordonez Payoneer. Rachel Pike from Modern Treasury. Shamina Singh from MasterCard. Alexis Sowa from Square. And on my screen it says, end of slideshow. So I think that's everyone. All right, congratulations again to all of the Honor.
