Former Mastercard and veteran bank executive Colleen Taylor has joined Wells Fargo, where she will oversee the bank's merchant services strategy.

The series of major payment mergers and acquisitions from 2019 are expected to require substantial conversion projects over the next several years, including complex work to manage existing and future collaborations.
In her new role, Taylor will navigate the bank’s relationship with Fiserv in which Wells provides merchant leads and sales support with independent sales organizations and Fiserv handles processing.
Taylor most recently was executive vice president at Mastercard, where she oversaw strategic initiatives beginning in 2017.
Before joining Mastercard, Taylor was executive vice president for eight years at Capital One, where she headed treasury management and merchant services, and prior to that she held various executive roles at Wachovia Bank and JPMorgan Chase.
