TSYS Tech Exec Patty Watson Joins Texas Capital Bancshares' Board

Texas Capital Bancshares in Dallas has named TSYS Chief Information Officer Patty Watson to its board.

Watson has been CIO of the payments processor since September. She previously was CIO for Brinks Co., and she has also worked for Bank of America, as a senior technology executive in its treasury, payments and credit area.

While at TSYS, Watson has played a leadership role as the company expands its mobile payments strategy and enhances its data protection measures.

Watson is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where she was an executive staff officer, flight commander and director of operations.

Texas Capital expanded its board to 14 members to add Watson. She will be appointed to the board's audit and risk committee.
