TSYS has added two executives to its board, including Thaddeus Arroyo, CEO of AT&T Business, and Richard Smith, who is chairman, CEO and president of Realogy Holdings Corp.

Arroyo, who joined AT&T a decade ago as chief information officer, will join the TSYS board’s technology committee. Arroyo has served in a variety of capacities at AT&T, including CEO of the company’s Mexican affiliate. Before joining AT&T, he worked was chief information officer at Cingular Wireless and a senior vice president at Sabre, a travel software company.

Smith has been CEO and president at real estate services company Realogy for the last 10 years (and is not to be confused with ex-Equifax CEO Richard Smith). He will serve on the compensation committee of TSYS’ board. Prior to joining Realogy, Smith was president of Cendant, where he headed the real estate division of that conglomerate, and previously was executive vice president of operations for its HFS hotel division. Smith was once a detective in Columbus, Ga., according to reports.

The appointments bring the TSYS board to 12 members, following last month’s departure of Pam Joseph, who also resigned as president and chief operating officer.
