TD Retail Card Services will develop and administer a private-label credit card program for retailer Ashley Furniture Industries Inc., the Mahwah, N.J.-based card issuer announced Oct. 19.
Under the agreement, TD will provide several custom financing options and special incentives and offers for Furnish123, which is one of Ashley Furniture’s brands. TD will issue cards only for Furnish123, not for all of Ashley Furniture’s stores.
The deal is TD’s latest agreement to issue private-label cards for a specialty retailer. Since February, the bank has signed deals with home furnishings and mattress purchasing cooperative Furniture First, retail jeweler Bailey Banks & Biddle, and recreational vehicle and cargo trailer manufacturer Elkhart.
