NetSpend Corp., a prepaid debit card provider, has renewed its agreement with Ace Cash Express Inc., a check casher and payday lender, to distribute NetSpend prepaid cards for an additional seven years. Since 2002, when the agreement began, Ace has sold more than 1.6 million general purpose, reloadable prepaid cards for Austin, Texas-based NetSpend, the company says. Based in Irving, Texas, Ace Cash Express has 1,792 stores in 38 states and the District of Columbia. MetaBank, a division of Meta Financial Group Inc. that is based in Storm Lake, Iowa, issues the cards for NetSpend.
