Net Element Inc., a global payments processor with offices in Miami and Moscow, has extended support for Apple Pay to Russian consumers via its PayOnline subsidiary.
PayOnline enables mobile and e-commerce merchants to accept Apple Pay in-app. Its fully integrated electronic commerce platform will boost Apple Pay’s reach in Russia, where the mobile payment service launched in October 2016, Net Element said in an April 5 press release.
“As the shift to mobile payments continues, PayOnline delivers the necessary support and tools merchants need to make payments a seamless part of online and mobile purchases,” said Marat Abasaliev, head of online solutions for PayOnline, in the release.
