Harbortouch has formed a partnership with FiveStars, a San Francisco-based firm whose platform provides customized rewards programs for small businesses.
Allentown, Pa.-based Harbortouch, which markets free point-of-sale equipment to merchants, is adding FiveStars as one of several new business-management and marketing tools offered by third parties, Harbortouch said in an April 10 press release.
“FiveStars has been the number one loyalty solution requested by our customers, so there is a lot of demand for the solution,” said Brian Jones, Harbortouch’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, in the release. “We are always working to add value to our core POS solution, and the addition of FiveStars is a big step in this direction.”
FiveStars supports rewards, messaging tools and automated promotions through a single marketing program. Since its launch in 2011, FiveStars has received $92.5 million in venture capital funding.
