EZ-Link, the Singaporean transit and payment card issuer, has launched a line of fitness wearables with embedded payments.

"We are excited… to be at the core of a wearable revolution for Singapore and the limitless possibilities we can bring to consumers in the future.”
Garmin was part of a similar initiative last year, in which it integrated contactless chip into the vívosmart HR band in Taiwan, allowing consumers to pay for transportation with the I-Pass electronic wallet stored within the chip.
