Chase Rebrands, Redesigns Small Business Mobile App as 'Ink'

Chase Card Services has rebranded and redesigned its small business management mobile app, previously called Jot, to Ink from Chase.

The mobile app provides features to help merchants manage their businesses on the go. These include instant purchase alerts to track spending; organization tools such as a photo archive of receipts and real-time employee spending adjustments; and purchase tags for easier reporting.

"The new Ink app was designed with one goal in mind: to simplify backend office management for small business owners so they can focus on their business," said Laura Miller, president of business card at Chase, in a July 8 press release. "By giving small business owners the ability to easily, quickly and more efficiently manage their finances and the financial activity of their employees, they have more time to focus on their passion and grow their small business."

The Ink app is available for Ink from Chase cardholders on both iPhone and Android devices. The app automatically syncs with chase.com, so receipts can be downloaded and reporting handled.

Chase has about four million small-business clients in the United States.
