The Chargent payment processing software on the Salesforce AppExchange has integrated with Bank Centric Payments to create a new gateway option and bolster “real time” transaction processing.

“Improving the payments process from the bank outward produces winning results for everyone involved," Richard McShirley, chief marketing officer at San Francisco-based linked2pay, said in an April 18 press release. The bank gains a payments technology platform that delivers the control and efficiency needed to scale underwriting, on-boarding and the daily clearing of payment transactions, McShirley added.
Chargent Payment Processing, created by AppFrontier, is the only 100% Salesforce native credit card and ACH payment solution for one-time payment transactions or recurring billing. It provides merchants a 360-degree view of customers by keeping non-sensitive payment data where their customer data is already housed, and improves the business process around payments and back-office fulfillment on a single platform, linked2pay stated in the release.
“With this platform connection, Chargent payment processing software and AvidiaPay combine as a strong integrated payments solution for merchants and especially those that want a robust and seamless ACH experience paired with credit card," David Hecht, co-founder of AppFrontier, said in the release. The gateway option is "especially important with the evolution of same-day ACH payments," Hecht said.
“Now any merchant who uses Salesforce and Bank Centric Payments can connect the two in just a few clicks, enabling real-time payments, recurring billing and payment link emails directly from where their customer data lives in Salesforce,” he added.
Bank Centric Payments will provide Chargent users with the security and fraud prevention to manage PCI compliance, NACHA guidelines, encryption and tokenization.
