AsiaPay Integrates Payments with Micros Hotel Platform

AsiaPay has integrated its payment offerings with Micros Systems to offer technology to the hotel sector in Asia.

AsiaPay's payment gateways—PayDollar, PesoPay and SiamPay—have been incorporated into Micros' Internet booking engine, webHotel, to support payments for Micros' clients.

AsiaPay's payment gateway platform interfaces with over 50 acquirers and alternate payment providers in 16 Asian countries, the company says in a July 2 press release.

Oracle recently entered a deal to buy Micros, of Columbia, Md., for $5.3 billion. Oracle CEO Larry Ellison is looking to reignite slowing growth by adding software for hotels and restaurants. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2014.
