Android Pay just added New Zealand to its growing list of supporting countries.

Initially, the service is available only to customers of BNZ bank with a Visa Flexi debit card, Pali Bhat, Google's global head of payment products said in a recent blog post.

As of Nov. 30, consumers in New Zealand can use Android Pay at the point of sale wherever contactless payments are accepted. The offering works on all Android devices with Near Field Communication and Host Card Emulation capabilities and operate on the KitKat 4.4 or higher version of Google's mobile operating system.

Google also launched Android Pay in Poland last month. It is also available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and the U.K. Android Pay debuted in the U.S. in September 2015, a year after the launch of Apple Pay.
