Montreal-based Acceo Solutions Inc. and Mastercard have formed a new partnership to expand Acceo’s in-store payment offering for global e-commerce merchants.

By connecting Acceo’s existing in-store retail payment solution, Acceo Tender Retail with Mastercard Payment Gateway Services, Acceo aims to simplify and unify the consumer shopping and payments experience across in-store and digital channels for its global retail clients in cities including New York, Dubai, Paris and London, the companies said in a Jan. 12 press release.

“The combination of our technologies results in a one-stop shop for a merchant’s payments needs across all channels and in all global markets, creating a unified customer experience,” said Joey Vaccaro, Acceo’s vice president of business development and strategic alliances, in the release.

Mastercard emphasized the security of the new solution, which is PCI-validated and leverages tokenization, point-to-point encryption and EMV. “Due to the enormous growth in digital payments, retailers are looking for technology solutions that connect across all shopping channels, are increasingly global and—more importantly—are safe,” said Tim Fletcher, general manager of Mastercard Payment Gateway Services for the Americas, in the release.
