Wells Fargo & Co. is reorganizing the structure for its insurance brokerage and consulting division from 15 regional offices to seven regions with roughly 160 local offices.
The new regions for Wells Fargo Insurance are Northwest, led by Rich Lane; Southwest, led by Howard McClure; West, led by Sam Elliott; Midwest, led by John Meder; Northeast, led by Pete Gilbertson; Mid-Atlantic, led by John Meehan; and South, led by Tom Longhta.
Wells Fargo Insurance serves the insurance needs of business banking, middle market, large corporate and high-net-worth clients.
"This new structure more strategically connects our offices within each market and across the U.S. and better aligns the insurance division with other Wells Fargo business units," Kevin Kenny, executive vice president of Wells Fargo Insurance, said Thursday in a press release. "As we continue to focus on cross-sell, the new model provides greater opportunity for our insurance executives to partner with other Wells Fargo business lines and identify the right products and services for our customers."
