Wells Fargo has reshuffled its restaurant finance business and hired new leaders after the exit of several bankers earlier this year.
Meghan Hinds, who joined Wells in 2006 and focuses on the restaurant industry, is the new head of the division. She replaced Nick Cole, who
Hinds, who is based in Boston, also named four leaders for her team and reorganized it based on the types of companies Wells serves.
“We aligned our team in a way that provides consistent coverage and segment expertise to our borrowers,” Hinds said in a press release. “This ensures clients are at the center of everything we do.”
Two longtime Wells restaurant lenders, Todd Alcantara and Heidi Piché, will be responsible for franchisees of regional and national brands. Piché will also oversee single-tenant real estate clients.
Rob Rechkemmer, who joined Wells Fargo’s restaurant team in 2017, will work with larger chains and convenience store operators.
Hinds also hired former MUFG restaurant banker Jake Nash to become the group’s head of business development. Nash has also worked at Regions Financial and Bank of America.
The division is part of a team at Wells Fargo that focuses on agribusiness, food and hospitality.
