UMB Financial Corp. of Kansas City, Mo., has hired Gregory Jerzyk as an executive vice president for the company and director of portfolio management for its wealth management arm, UMB Investment Advisors.
Mr. Jerzyk will oversee the management and development of portfolio managers in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Denver. He started his new job Monday and works from UMB's headquarters in downtown Kansas City.
He was a first vice president and senior portfolio manager at LaSalle Bank Corp., a Chicago subsidiary of ABN Amro Holding NV. He managed equity and open architecture portfolios for individuals and institutions at LaSalle.
UMB Investment Advisors manages active portfolios for defined benefit plans, endowments, foundations, trusts and high-net-worth individuals.
UMB announced the hiring Wednesday.
