TD Ameritrade Has Retirement Planner

TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. has a new online service it says helps investors develop a retirement plan that aligns projected retirement savings and expenses.

WealthRuler, which the Omaha brokerage announced Wednesday, uses broad asset-allocation assumptions, and "runs a minimum of 500 simulations of assumed market returns over a defined time frame to determine the likelihood of a retirement plan's success," TD Ameritrade said. "It also demonstrates" how a plan "might perform in average versus poor market conditions."

TD Ameritrade had $288 billion of client assets as of Jan. 31.
