Regions Bank Promotes Exec to Lead Private Wealth Management

Regions Financial in Birmingham, Ala., has a new leader for its private wealth management group.

The $125 billion-asset company said in a press release Tuesday that Kate Randall Danella will lead a team of private wealth management professionals providing banking, trust and investment management services to affluent and high-net-worth individuals and families. Regions' wealth management division administers $85 billion in assets.

Danella joined Regions last year to oversee the development and implementation of business strategies across the company's wealth management group.

Danella succeeded Anne Copeland, who is leaving Regions to pursue opportunities in executive coaching.

Danella's "top focus is a positive client experience — one that's customized to meet the needs of each individual we serve — and we are pleased to have a leader of her caliber who is prepared to assume this important role," Bill Ritter, head of the Regions' wealth management group, said in the release.
