Open Solutions Inc. in Glastonbury, Conn., said Wednesday that it had agreed to use Hypercom Corp.'s HBNet Inc. network for routing transactions to its Canadian subsidiary, Open Solutions Canada.
Hypercom, a Phoenix network operator, said that HBNet has numerous redundancies and other features to ensure seamless routing.
"HBNet brings us the exact specifications we need in terms of stability and security that would be impossible to replicate internally," Rob Palin, the general manager of Open Solutions Canada's payment solutions group, said in a press release.
