MUFG Americas Names JPMorgan Exec Chief Risk Officer

MUFG Americas Holdings in New York has hired Donna Dellosso as chief risk officer for Union Bank and for its other operations in the Americas.

Dellosso most recently was managing director and chief risk officer at JPMorgan Chase's main bank unit, according to a news release Thursday. She was also previously chief risk officer at JPMorgan's asset management division. Dellosso has also worked for Smith Barney, Kidder Peabody and Nikko Securities.

At the $114 billion-asset MUFG, Dellosso will be responsible for risk and credit management for the company's operations in the U.S., Latin America and Canada.

She will succeed Hironori Kamezawa, who was named interim chief risk officer in April. Kamezawa filled the role after Mark Midkiff left for the same job at GE Capital.

Dellosso will be based in New York and serve on MUFG's executive committee for the Americas.
