Leesport Financial Corp. of Wyomissing, Pa., has changed its name to Vist Financial Corp. and said all its divisions will operate under that name.
Vist is an acronym for "Vision, Integrity, Solutions, and Trust."
The $1.1 billion-asset company previously used separate brands for each of its bank, insurance wealth management and mortgage units. Robert D. Davis, Vist's president and chief executive officer, said in a press release Thursday that operating the units under a single name will improve efficiency.
Spokesman Loren J. Berckey said in an interview that the new name is also "less geographically restrictive."
