Johnson Financial Group in Racine, Wis., has promoted an executive in its insurance division to chief financial officer.
Mark Behrens will be CFO of both the $3.9 billion-asset Johnson Financial and of Johnson Bank. He will start in the new positions on July 1. Behrens succeeds Judy Sutfin, who left the company this month after working there four years. Johnson did not provide a reason for Sutfin's departure.
Behrens most recently served as the president of Johnson Financial's insurance arm. He has been with Johnson Financial for more than 30 years and has held a number of banking and corporate finance roles, including chief operating officer of Johnson Insurance Services.
Michael Derdzinski will be interim president of Johnson Insurance as the company looks to fill the role. Derdzinski is currently director of employee benefits at the insurance group.
