The Northern Trust Corp. division that provides personal financial services for the wealthy said Tuesday that it had opened another East Coast office, in Boston.
It already had offices in New York, Connecticut, and Delaware.
Lee J. Wooley has been named president of the Boston office, which will offer financial consulting, private banking, trust and estate planning, and investment management services. Mr. Wooley was a senior vice president and director of Northern Trust's Midwest wealth strategies group.
The division, Northern Trust Personal Financial Services, had $219.5 billion of assets under custody and $111.1 billion under management on June 30. The parent company is based in Chicago.
