Fidelity Investments launched an alternative-investment platform on Thursday.
It is available to advisers through Fidelity Registered Investment Advisor Group and to broker-dealer clients through National Financial, Fidelity's clearing arm, the Boston fund company said.
The platform is designed to help advisers and broker-dealers more efficiently research, manage, transact, hold in custody, and report on investments in alternative assets. It includes an online management platform and a network of registered alternative investments from third-party investment management companies.
