NEW YORK - Citigroup Inc. said Tuesday that its private-label card division, Citi Commerce Solutions, had signed a deal to provide consumer and commercial credit card accounts to Home Depot customers.
The multiyear outsourcing agreement calls for Citi Commerce Solutions to expand Home Depot's consumer credit card, commercial revolving charge, and commercial accounts, beginning in midyear 2003.
"This exclusive partnership provides Home Depot with significant competitive advantages, including new service offerings for our customers which will deliver top-line growth," said Bob Nardelli, the retailer's chairman and CEO, in a press release.
