American Banker's Best Places to Work in Fintech program recognizes financial technology companies that provide a positive and supportive workplace environment and benefits, according to their own employees.
This list is meant to highlight companies that make an effort to provide a healthy workplace environment, that apply best practices in employee benefits and human resources management and that are therefore places job seekers may want to check out.
Eligibility
This program is open to organizations that provide technology products, services or solutions that enable the delivery of financial services, including challenger banks, core system providers, data and analytics providers, personal financial management providers (including robo-advisors), regtech companies (specifically in financial services), payments and remittance providers, insurtechs, loan software vendors, digital banking technology providers, and blockchain technology companies.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 full or part-time employees working in the U.S. and must have been in business for at least one year.
Companies in some of these categories may have to meet additional qualifications — in particular, companies that are in generalized technology fields and only generate a portion of their business from financial services companies may be accepted or declined based on the portion of their business and share of employees devoted specifically to supporting financial services businesses.
Additionally, companies that want to enter but are not in one of the disciplines listed above are encouraged to make a case for eligibility by contacting penny.crosman@arizent.com. With respect to technology departments within an organization (and with a broader function), please only survey employees in the financial technology department.
Deadline
Individual applications must be submitted by the deadline of Friday, Dec. 6, at 11:59 p.m. ET to be considered.
