HomeTrust Bancshares in Asheville, N.C., has hired PNC Financial Services Group banker Kristin Powell as co-director of mortgage lending.
Powell will lead mortgage lending at the $2.6 billion-asset company with John Myers, who has been with the bank since 1977.
Powell previously worked for PNC Financial Services Group, in the Pittsburgh company's Central North Carolina market for mortgages. She also previously mortgage sales strategy and residential wholesale lending at Royal Bank of Canada. She also has previously worked for Bank of America.
Powell will work from HomeTrust's Charlotte, N.C., office and report to Hunter Westbrook, chief banking officer.
