First Midwest Bank Joins Allpoint ATM Network

First Midwest Bank in Itasca, Ill., has expanded its ATM network by joining the Allpoint Network.

The bank, a unit of the $8 billion-asset First Midwest Bancorp (FMBI), had 130 ATMs in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. Its customers will now have access to 43,000 free ATMs across the U.S. through Allpoint, an affiliate of Cardtronics (CATM), the vendor said Tuesday.

Allpoint ATMs are located in retail outlets such as major discount stores, convenience and grocery stores and pharmacies. To find an Allpoint ATM, First Midwest customers can use the bank’s ATM/branch locator feature on its website.
