Associated Banc-Corp in Green Bay, Wis., has promoted Brent R. Tischler to the newly created position of director of retail banking.
Tischler previously served as the company's director of payments and direct channels. In his new role, he is responsible for the $28 billion-asset company's interactions with consumers and small businesses in branches, online and through its mobile app. The new role also gives Tischler oversight of the business banking division's product management, sales and delivery.
He joined Associated in 2010 from Guaranty Bank in Milwaukee. Before joining Guaranty, Tischler worked for the consulting firm Deloitte.

Tischler now reports to David L. Stein, Associated's head of consumer and commercial banking.
"Most recently, Brent has been our architect for our non-branch channel strategy and progress," Stein said in a press release. "His leadership and success in that dynamic environment positions him well for this expanded assignment."
Tischler will oversee the directors of consumer banking, small business banking, retail sales management, branch banking, digital channels, virtual sales, channel optimization and retail delivery.
