Citigroup Inc. entered a partnership with Live Nation Inc. to offer cardholders access to private concerts and other music events.
Live Nation, a Los Angeles organizer of private music performance, said Wednesday that Citi has become its "official credit card partner."
The New York company will provide cardholders access to concert tickets before they are generally available, preferred seats at some venues, merchandise, and a variety of special events, including private concerts, through its Private Pass program.
"We are constantly looking for opportunities to build deeper relationships with our existing customers and to strike new relationships with potential customers," Vik Atal, the chairman and chief executive of Citi Card, said in a Live Nation press release.
