Cardlytics announced Tuesday a new bank-brandable service that will allow customers to opt-in to privately receive offers and rewards via Facebook.
Previously, consumers could only receive offers through their online and mobile bank statements and via email.

The new service allows banks to deploy a Facebook app that integrates with the Cardlytics's platform. Cardlytics said it uses the Facebook API to create a link from an anonymous token ID at the bank to an individual Facebook ID; thus, no personal banking information is entered or shared.
Offers made to consumers relate to what they have purchased in the past.
