The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston said it has named Eric Rosengren its president and chief executive officer. He is scheduled to take the post July 23, the Boston Fed said Thursday. He will succeed Cathy Minehan, who is slated to retire July 22 after 13 years as the president.
Mr. Rosengren joined the Boston Fed as an economist in 1985 and is currently executive vice president and head of supervision at the bank.
