Bank of Marin Bancorp (BMRC) in Novato, Calif., is looking for a chief financial officer.
The 1.4 billion-asset company said Tuesday that Christina Cook would resign from the post on May 10 to take a job with a company outside the banking industry. Her departure is voluntary and does not reflect any disagreement with Bank of Marin, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Bank of Marin said it has started looking for a new CFO. It did not detail plans to appoint an interim financial officer. A company spokeswoman was not immediately available.
Cook, a certified public accountant, joined the company in 2004 from Citigroup (NYSE:C), where she was a director of financial reporting. She previously held posts at Bank of America (BAC) and Coopers & Lybrand.
Bank of Marin has 18 branches in three California counties.
