Customer acquisition firm Avoka and identity verification company Trulioo have teamed up to create a real-time know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering identity verification service.
The new service, which is now available, helps international banks authenticate digital identities across 40 countries. The partnership will also integrate the Trulioo GlobalGateway and Avoka Transact technologies to facilitate end-to-end customer onboarding.
Trulioo GlobalGateway can access 145 data sources to verify roughly four billion people through a single API integration. GlobalGateway will become available as part of the Avoka Transact platform.
Avoka Transact, meanwhile, focuses on customer engagement through omni-channel means.
"Today's global marketplace makes identity verification a complex and challenging part of initial customer engagement for banks, whether that be account opening, loan applications or financial on-boarding," Avoka chief executive Philip Copeland, said in a Nov. 2 news release. "Our partnership with Trulioo enables us to simplify this process significantly, with the added benefit of helping our customers be compliant in all of the markets they operate in."
