Farmers National Bank Corp. of Prophetstown, Ill., is using imaging technology from Integrated Bank Technology Inc. at its teller windows.
After evaluating imaging systems for three years, Farmers National spent three weeks installing the IBT application, the Cedar Park, Tex., vendor said Wednesday.
Farmers National used the technology to eliminate its back-office check processing operations, and the cost of maintaining that equipment, the vendor said. "We have a much more efficient operation and increased funds availability, while also reducing the number of departments," Gary Cangelosi, a Farmers National cashier, said in an IBT press release.
