AmeriServ in Pennsylvania Names New Chief

AmeriServ Financial in Johnstown, Pa., has a new chief executive.

The $1.1 billion-asset company said in a press release Tuesday that Jeffrey Stopko has become its permanent president and CEO. Stopko, who had been AmeriServ’s chief financial officer, succeeds Glenn Wilson, who resigned in January to join Chesapeake Bancorp in Chestertown, Md.

James Huerth, formerly chief banking officer, was named president and CEO of AmeriServ's bank. Michael Baylor, who had been senior vice president of commercial banking, was promoted to chief banking officer.

AmeriServ said that Michael Lynch had become its chief financial and investment officer.

Carolyn Concannon, previously chief credit officer, was selected to become chief risk officer.
