Fiserv Inc. has partnered with Integrated Media Management to integrate Teller Source Capture from Fiserv with Integrated Media's Teller Item Capture solutions, allowing more credit unions to use the Teller Source Capture application from Fiserv to capture images and process transactions.
The partnership, announced on Thursday, replaces a third-party capture solution that Integrated Media had been using. The Integrated Media suite of teller solutions is currently integrated with many of the account processing solutions from Fiserv, including XP2, DataSafe, Spectrum and Advantage.
Teller Source Capture from Fiserv allows credit unions to increase efficiency by eliminating teller data entry and teller documents, reducing back office adjustments and providing risk mitigation tools, according to a press release. Each transaction is created and balanced as the teller interacts with the credit union member, allowing corrections to deposits to be made in real time. Teller Source Capture also identifies duplicate items, image quality issues and other rules established in deposit review.
Integrated Media item processing customers can use the entire portfolio of Source Capture Solutions from Fiserv, including branch, merchant, consumer, mobile and ATM source capture, and can use membership to the Fiserv Clearing Network for image exchange and settlement.
