Domino's U.K. Adds PayPal to Options

With online orders on the increase, Domino's Pizza Group Ltd. in the United Kingdom has decided to add PayPal Inc. as a payment method. "Online orders account for an increasingly large proportion of our sales, and we are continually looking for ways to improve the process and make it more user-friendly," Simon Wallis, Domino's U.K. sales and marketing director, said in a March 7 press release.

Domino's U.K. added PayPal, a unit of eBay Inc., as a payment option after listening to its customers, Wallis said. "Now consumers may pay for pizza in just a couple of clicks," he said.

The global pizza chain said it plans to promote the payment method through social media, e-mails and online advertisements.
