APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – Wings Financial FCU, the $2 billion airline industry credit union, announced the opening of its 19th branch in the suburb of Edina will occur next month.
Wings had a very successful year in 2008, increasing net income by a whopping 32% to $17.7 million, and growing assets by 11% to almost $2.1 billion.
The Edina location marks the third branch added to the Wings Financial network in the last six months as the credit union has recently opened locations in Orlando and at New York’s JFK International Airport
The new branch will be a full-service Wings Financial office with lobby services, drive-through teller windows and a drive-through ATM. The branch expects to be open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.
