SAN DIEGO – Symitar, a division of Jack Henry & Associates that provides integrated technology platforms for credit unions of all sizes, announced the completion of its brand refresh initiative.

Symitar was founded in 1984 and acquired by Jack Henry & Associates in 2000. Today, it is a technology partner for more than 750 credit unions, including 82 of the 207 CUs with assets exceeding $1 billion. Its flagship Episys system has enjoyed an annual customer retention of more than 99%.

According to Debbie Wood, general manager of marketing and industry research, “For three decades Symitar has served credit unions with core and complementary solutions that have evolved with advances in technology and as its clients’ needs have become more sophisticated. Consistent with the financial services industry at-large, the credit union industry has experienced unprecedented change and Symitar has generated material, consistent progress and performance by helping its diverse clients respond to and capitalize on that change. We believe the new, more vibrant, more contemporary branding better reflects Symitar’s product and service innovations, industry leadership, and commitment to provide the mission-critical technology its clients need to power their business strategies.”
