FALL RIVER, Mass. – St. Anne’s CU said it has purchased the adjacent Medical Arts Center building for $3.2 million, where it plans to build a new operations center and expand its offices.
The $740 million credit union plans to renovate the two-story, 15,000 square-foot building and relocate service departments for loans, savings, auditing and human services to the new building.
The 72-year-old credit union operates full service branches in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Dartmouth and Fairhaven, along with loan centers in New Bedford and Seekonk and has 86,000 members.
