Southern Mass Credit Union has a new name.
The $293 million-asset credit union in Fairhaven, Mass., said in a press release Monday that it rebranded as Alltrust Credit Union.
“The Alltrust name better expresses our focus on being a trusted financial partner for all our members, at every stage of life,” said President and CEO Carmen Sylvester. “Our new brand identity more accurately reflects our credit union’s core values and culture, as well as our mission to help our members create brighter futures for themselves and their loved ones.”
The credit union was founded in 1922 and has more than 14,000 members in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Alltrust is also currently renovating its flagship branch in Fairhaven.
Alltrust earned roughly $3 million in 2020, compared with a loss of $335,000 the year before, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
