Police Federal Credit Union names new chief

Police Federal Credit Union has named Norman Mann II as its new president and chief executive officer.

The $146 million-asset institution said on Tuesday that Mann will succeed Danny Gregg, who is retiring. Gregg took over leadership of the Upper Marlboro, Md.-based credit union in 1995.

Mann has been with Police FCU since 2007, most recently serving as chief financial officer.

Prior to his tenure at Police FCU, Mann has also worked at NASA Federal Credit Union and at the Department of Justice Federal Credit Union.

NASA FCU, also based in Upper Marlboro, now has $2.6 billion in assets. Based in Chantilly, Va., Department of Justice FCU now has $798 million in assets.

“[Mann] has been a key member of Police Federal Credit Union’s executive leadership team since 2007 and I am personally delighted that he has agreed to step up and lead the organization, and we have upmost confidence that the credit union is safe in his hands,” Clay Goldston, chairman of the board, said in a statement.

Mann is also the chairman of the board of the DC Chapter of the MDDC Credit Union Association.

Police FCU posted net income of $852,250 through the first nine months of 2018, a 67 percent jump from the same period in the prior year.
