SAN DIEGO – Point Loma CU last week said it is closing its branch in San Marcos because of underperformance.
“The deep recession and the slow economic recovery have forced us to make the difficult decision to close the San Marcos branch,” said a spokesperson for the $450-million credit union.
Members were told of the decision to close the branch in early September.
