Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union and Atlantic City Firemen's Federal Credit Union, both located in Northfield, agreed last month to merge. They expect the merger to be completed on Jan. 31, including all systems conversions.
The $127 million-asset Jersey Shore FCU was established in 1963, has 9,600 members and operates five offices in Northfield, Galloway, Mays Landing, Rio Grande and at the Atlantic City International Airport.
The $18.5 million-asset Atlantic City Firemen's FCU was founded in 1939, has 2,400 members and operates a single branch in Northfield.
