Former TCF executive hired to lead Credit Union Trust

Credit Union Trust, a limited-purpose bank launched in 2018, has a new president and CEO.

Jordan Summers, most recently chief fiduciary officer and a market president for TCF National Bank, was hired to succeed Robert Sajdak, who recently retired. Sajdak had led Credit Union Trust since it opened.

“I’m excited about the foundation that Bob and the team have built and look forward to contributing to Credit Union Trust’s exponential growth in the coming years,” Summers said in a press release.

TCF recently agreed to merge with Huntington Bancshares in Columbus, Ohio.

Sajdak spent more than three decades with Comerica, where he managed the bank's trust operations form 2007 until 2012, when he retired. He later came out of retirement to join Reliance Trust in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., before taking the helm of Credit Union Trust.
