El Paso Employees FCU To ‘Evolve’ To New Name

EL PASO, Texas—The $300-million El Paso Employees FCU here will change its name to Evolve Federal Credit Union on Jan. 1.

In a statement to its membership, the credit union said the name change was being made in conjunction with an FOM expansion to include anyone who lives, works or worships within the city of El Paso.

In explaining the name change, the credit union said, “Evolve was chosen because not only will it no longer mislead members of our community as far as who is eligible to join, it is a name that reflects the future of our institution.”
