PLANO, Texas – EDS CU, struggling with its identity after the takeover of its corporate sponsor by Hewlett-Packard, said it is changing its name to InTouch CU.
The $775 million credit union hopes the name will help preserve its IT heritage as it reaches out find new members to serve. The rebranding effort aims to recruit young professional members.
“We’ve been having this discussion for the last four years. As things changed … we felt it was
important to have our own identity,” said Diane Gerstner, executive vice president at EDS CU. “So did the companies we were affiliated with.”
